Note: The 連用形 (conjunctive form) will be explained in detail in later lessons.

Adjectives with 「く」 + Verb:
The 連用形 (conjunctive form) of an adjective with 「く」 can be used to modify a verb. Simply remove the 「い」 from the adjective and replace it with 「く」 to directly connect it to the verb.
In the N5 grammar lesson 08, "Adjectives in the て-form" ~て~, it was taught that to form the て-form of an adjective, you remove the 「い」 and add 「く」. This lesson also uses 「く」 to connect adjectives to verbs!
